About a week and a half ago, my mom, Heather, and a lady from my mom's ward did a baby shower for me. There was tons of yummy food and I got lots of cute presents from everyone that came. Both my grandmas from Southern Utah were able to come up with Heather, which was great, and a bunch of cousins came as well. I very much enjoyed the presents and seeing everyone!

30 Down, 10 To Go
I can't believe I am 30 weeks! It's insane to think that 10 weeks ago we were just finding out that we are having a little boy and now in 10 more weeks we will actually have him here! I'm not gonna lie, it's a little scary. I definitely don't feel very ready, but I'm not sure if you ever really feel 100% ready for something like this. He has been moving like crazy the last couple weeks, I don't think he ever really sleeps, but I guess that's typical baby right there. I love feeling him move around and kick me.. thankfully he hasn't hurt me yet. I don't think I've gotten a full nights rest in about a month now so I'm always super tired and by the end of the day I am super sore and worn out. Not working has been lovely, even though I feel like I never do anything productive during the day. Just within the last couple of days I have noticed that bending over, whether to put shoes on or to pick something up, is a chore. Even with being super uncomfortable, I really can't complain. Everything has gone very smoothly and overall I'm still feeling pretty good.
My 30 week belly

In other news... yesterday my poor little kitty became an "it". She got fixed, and yes, I cried like a baby taking her in because she was so scared and she cried the whole way to the vet. She was super groggy/loopy yesterday but she seems to be feeling much much better today, which is good. She's been super cuddly and sleepy :)

6 Months! and an Update
Well, I am officially 6 months along, which means I only have 3 months left til I get to hold my little baby! 3 months definitely does not seem like enough time to get ready for this huge change, but at the same time I am so anxious to actually have him here and 3 months seems like forever away! I just can't wait to meet him. I've been feeling really good lately. The only thing I could do without is the awful leg cramps that wake me up every night. I've tried sleeping with pillows and all that stuff but nothing seems to help... oh well I guess.
In other news, I am now officially done with my job, and oh my goodness I couldn't be more relieved! They still have me come in every couple weeks to help with paperwork and stuff, but I don't mind that because I just go upstairs into the office and everyone leaves me alone, and I get to go in and leave whenever I want.. that's my kind of job. So with all of my new free time I have decided to try some crafty things for spring. I've been successful so far, except I need to fix my wreath (I want to add purple into it to make it more "springy"). Pinterest has definitely become a new best friend to me :)
Jesse and I have also been called to be youth Sunday school teachers in our ward. We will be teaching the 14 year olds. We got to meet them yesterday and they seem really fun, so hopefully we can be good teachers for them. I've only every been in Primary so far, so I'm super excited to be with the youth.

24 Weeks and an Update
I am now 24 weeks along in this pregnancy. The past few weeks have seemed to go by so fast! I'm so excited for my little guy to come, but at the same time, I'm getting really nervous. I know they always say that the whole mothering thing comes naturally, but to think that in just a couple months I will be in charge of taking care of a tiny little baby scares me. I am so glad that I live so close to my parents... I have a feeling they, and especially my mom, will be the ones to get me through the first little while. But like I said, I am still so excited to finally have him here. As for how I'm feeling physically, I'm doing really good. My back and legs get really sore sometimes, but other than that I really don't have any complaints.
In other news, this past week I decided that
1. It was time to quit my job
and 2. It was time to chop my hair off and get the "mom do" as everyone I see calls it- and I don't regret chopping 11 inches off at all!
It's such a relief to finally have put in my two weeks at my job. I've been wanting to quit for a while (like 2 years) and have just never had a good reason to, and I was too scared to get another job and have to learn a bunch of new stuff. So I decided that with me only working like 6 hours a week right now, and me
only being a few months away from having a baby, now would be the perfect time to finally do it. As it gets closer to spring I would've had to of started working long shifts standing on a concrete floor in an 80 degree building, and there's no way I was going to put myself through that being 7-8 months pregnant, so I quit while I still could. I'm excited to have just a few months where I don't have to worry about school or work and I can complet
ely focus on getting things ready for baby. I am going to try to start crocheting a blanket, and with our tax return money I get to buy a sewing machine, so I want to try to make a few baby things with that too. I'm determined to become a crafty person :)

22 Weeks

Jesse and I have decided on a name for the little guy, it's going to be Walter Carroll Barocio. He'll go by Wally. He'll be named after Jesse's great Uncle Walter and my Grandpa Willard Carroll Jones. I think it has a nice ring to it... and I just love the "old people" names for some reason.

I'm a Shopaholic
Now that I know that I'm having a boy, going into any store is very dangerous. Shopping for baby stuff is seriously addicting! I can't control myself, and when I go with my mom, it's even worse! It's pretty much a rule now that I can't leave a store without buying one baby item. I already have a bunch of outfits and today I even bought a little bouncy chair at Target... gotta love sales!
Here is the bouncy chair me and my mom found
And here's the start to all the little boy clothes

It's a......
BOY!!! And there's no doubt about it. Just a few seconds of having the little ultrasound thingy on my belly, he proudly showed his goods for all of us to see :)

We are so excited to have a boy! Right after our appointment we went over to Target and picked out a couple adorable outfits to celebrate. Now I really can't wait for May to get here!
