School Has Started

Jesse and I are officially back in school. I think that this semester is going to be pretty easy for me. I only have 4 classes, one of which is an online class, and I'll only be work 3 or 4 days a week. I'm going to have quite a bit of homework, mostly reading and writing papers, because that's all that you do when you're a History major, but other than that I don't think it'll be too hard. Jesse, on the other hand, is going to have a pretty rough semester. Not only is he taking 17 credit hours, but he's working 2 jobs. His daily schedule looks something like this: Class from 7:30 in the morning til about noon or 1, then working at J and J til 5, then working at the campus library til 11 every night. I don't really know how he's going to find time to do homework, but he seems to think it'll work out. The hard part about this for me is getting used to not seeing him very much. I'm so used to him coming over right after work and spending every evening with me. It's only been the second day of him having this schedule and so far I'm not likin it. I shouldn't complain though; he's working this hard to make sure we have enough money for when we get married, which is awesome of him. He is a very hard worker and I know that he will always do his best to make sure I'm taken care of. I'm very appreciative of him for that, and I know it could be worse, I just like spending time with him. I just gotta keep reminding myself that him doing this is going to pay off and I just need to get through this semester because then we'll be married :)

Weekend in Cedar City

This past week, we spent a few days in Cedar City. We went down for a couple different reasons. On Thursday, Jesse and I went to Macbeth at the Shakespearean Festival. It was absolutely amazing. They always do such an awesome job on those plays, and we are definitely going to have to make this a yearly thing. While we were there, we also helped my sister, Heather move into a new apartment. It was exciting to see her finally move into a place of her own.
Saturday was my cousin, Ashlyn's, wedding. Her and her now husband, Jesse, got married in the St. George temple. It was a very pretty wedding and a very pretty day.
While we were in St. George, I had an appointment to meet with the guy who is going to be doing my flowers for my wedding. He is the same guy that did Ashlyn's flowers. He works at the Tai Pan there in St. George, and, from what I've seen, his floral arrangements are beautiful. We figured out what my flowers are going to look like, and he will have them ready for us to pick them up Labor Day weekend!
One other thing that Jesse and I did this weekend was take a drive up to Cedar Breaks. Jesse had never been up there before and I decided it was something he had to see. It is so pretty! It was a great weekend!

My Birthday

Today is my birthday, and I have had an awesome day. I got to spend the entire day with Jesse which made it amazing. We went down to Salt Lake this morning and had lunch at the Gateway. We then went to a museum up on University of Utah's campus called Fort Douglas Museum of Military History. I had never heard of this place, but it was really fun. We then stopped at Temple Square and walked around the beautiful temple.Later on, we went to dinner at Olive Garden with my family and Jesse's mom. It was a great day, and tomorrow, Jesse and I are driving down to Cedar City to see MacBeth at the Shakespearean Festival. I'm so excited!
