Walter Goes to the Park

Today was Walter's first time going to the park.  We went and had a little picnic for lunch, and it was so fun! Walter definitely loves being outside!  He loves to just look at everything around him, he even started talking to the tree that we sat under- so cute! When we put him back in his car seat to go home he gave us the biggest pouty lip and then bawled the whole way home... so we'll definitely be going to the park more often :)

2 Months

Yesterday my adorable baby boy turned 2 months old! He is getting so big and I get pretty sad thinking about how fast he is growing up, but he is getting to be so much fun! He smiles like crazy now- especially at ceiling fans... silly boy, but it is adorable.  He is just learning to make little noises and "talk" to us, cutest thing ever! He was supposed to go to his 2 month check up today and get his immunizations :( but I postponed that for the 2nd of August.  I am not looking forward to that at all! I'm sure I'll cry more than he will with the shots.  At 2 months Walter is:

• Wearing 3-6 month clothes, and some 6 month
• Wearing size 2 diapers, but I can tell that any day now he will be out of those
• Eating every 2-3 hours
• Sleeping about 9 hours a night, but he still wakes up about 3 times to eat
• He spends the first half of the night in his bassinet and the second half in our bed... I keep telling myself I need to break him of this habit but when it's the only way that he will sleep and let me sleep it is really easy to just give in
• He has a completely random napping schedule that changes every day, so I guess it's not really a schedule at all

He is such a good little boy and I love him so much! His little face just melts my heart.

Walter's Blessing

This past weekend, we blessed Walter.  It was such a great day and such a beautiful blessing was given to him by his Daddy.  Heather and Grandma Adams came up for the occasion and we also had Grandma and Great Grandma Smith, Sherri and a bunch of cousins come.  My little man looked so handsome :)

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July this year! Michael is in the Davis High Marching Band and so we went to the Kaysville parade to see him.  Walter did so well during the parade, you could tell he just loved being outside and loved watching everything going on.  After the parade, we went to my parents house and had hamburgers, homemade root beer and watermelon for lunch- yum!  The parade left Walter completely exhuasted- he slept for about 5 hours straight afterwards.  We then made our way up to Ogden to have a BBQ with Jesse's family which was also delicious.  We skipped out on fireworks this year just because they probably would've scared Walter and I wanted him to get to bed at a good time.  I've always loved the 4th of July, and this year was no different!  

Heather gave Walter an adorable little onesie that says "I love BBQ" that he wore with some plaid shorts

Sick Boy

Walter has been sick with a cold for the past two days :( Poor little guy is having a hard time breathing and just doesn't feel good.  I feel so bad for him because other than using a humidifier and trying to keep his nose clear, there really isn't anything I can do for him.  We have just spent the weekend

and sleeping

Let's hope he gets feeling better real soon!
